This is not correct. Most HP service manuals are available on their website. It’s called maintenance and service guide.

It looks like the hard drive in MSI Wind U100 netbook mounted under the bottom case.

In order to access the hard drive and fan you’ll have to remove the bottom case. Probably you can do it after all bottom screws are removed.

I have tried to help folks with two different ones in the past few months, and I have not been able to salvage either one yet (although one is still under “extended warranty” and may get reapir attention through that avenue).

I have tried to D/L latest BIOS rev’ns, and load them onto flash drives hoping that that they would boot into them, and that would re-build the BIOS, but with no success so far. Any suggestions of a clean way to revive failed Acer BIOS would be greatly appreciated!!!!
