I use my Toshiba laptop normally like i always do,three days ago i saw a movie on the laptop and when i finished switch it off by clicking the shutdown on start menu,at morning i switch it on by pressing on the power button and then connect the laptop with my phone with USB to charge my phone, after that i made the laptop in sleep mode,after a while i realize that my laptop have no any light and my phone was not charging, then i open the laptop and made switched on by pressing on power button, there is nothing my laptop doesn’t work if press any button, even when i plug the charger to my laptop it doesn’t work, after that i takeoff the battery and then i plug charger ,it works i saw the light the bottom of the laptop,after that i back the battery and plug the charger to the laptop again it works again i saw a light,but when i press the power button i saw the light at the bottom of laptop but the screen show me system setup setting no Wight background, i exist and save the change after that the screen get black but the charger works and there is a light at bottom of laptop, i press the power button to made it switch off it switched off,then i switch on again it switched on but the screen remains black again, if i press any button it stays lake that black screen, what can i do please help me.

I have a Laptop Toshiba L855-S5244. almost four days i could not get my my laptop to open up to windows screen. it will try to open the windows for a few seconds and goes off and restart again.What is your professional advice?(Darnley from PNG)

The laptop -gateway- runs well,however if i shutdown it down and try to restart the computer the computer will turn on and run but the screen will not. After numerous on,offs, the screen will turn on and function as normal. I will never know when the screen will come on.What is wrong?

I have laptop, sony vio VGN-220E. My laptop was not starting and figured, it is scenario 2. Followed advised steps and found problem was with RAM.. solved myself without taking it to repair centre. thank you v. much. keep up the good work.

i have Dell E4310 series laptop. when i was watching a cd movie it went off and after i have recharge it when i power it on it does so but it fells to boot instead it repeats the powering on message. what might be the problem? Any help please (CHARO from Kenya)

Hello..my Acer aspire e 11 is giving me heartache..its barely three months since it was bought but it keeps going off…all lights come on when turned on but no video or screen action…there’s a sound of powering up and then a clicking sound and silence but the lights remain on…I took out the hard drive and powered it but still no screen action…I left it for a few days and turn it on again and the logo came but after a few seconds it went off…please help me I have to complete my dissertation

I am using hp laptop 2000 icore 3 windows 8, I noticed my system does not see my harddrive so I decided to troubleshoot I noticed that my harddrive connector wire is damage so I got another harddrive connector but wen I blog it with my harddrive my system will not come up.what wrong with my system?.

Hi, I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro L300-1AD. My problem started about 9 months ago. When booting everything proceeded as normal and then after about 10 seconds it froze. Holding the power button down to turn off and then restart allows booting but then another freeze after 20 seconds. Repeating the process allows successful start and computer runs fine. I have been doing this for the last 9 months but the problem is gradually getting worse. It now takes about 5 or 6 restarts to get the system up and working.
I have renewed the HDD and Memory.
Once the computer is going it works very well all day without issues.
The system retains date and time information.
Can anyone help?

my laptop model is lenovo g500 series. i dont know why but my laptop is not booting. whenever i switch on my laptop, it just showing initial Lenovo screen and its struck there and its not booting. even i cant enter to the boot menu.
there is no beep sounds. i dont know why this happens. please help me to repair my laptop.
