I have a Satellite U400 series and I tried testing for power coming from the motherboard but nothing. Does that mean the video card on the motherboard is bad? I do not mind replacing the motherboard but would like to be sure first before replacing it and finding out that was not the issue. I do not have spare parts for this sold laptop. Thank you ever so much!

Do you know where I can buy the small inverter connectors? I have seen them advertised but only in packs of 50 or 100. I only need 1 and I have only replaced 2-3 of these in my lifetime.

Sir:
I have an LCD screen panel salvaged from a viewsonic VA912b and the original power supply board using small connectors. It has 4 connectors in all. I purchased a DIY kit inverter and it doesn’t indicate if it is positive or negative accept the colours like pink and white in the picture. How do i know which side is the correct sequence because with the small connector you can plug in either ways. Thank you

can i connect a led screen that has no inverter to a laptop using inverter… afraid it might get burnt

Hi,

I have a laptop which shows the screen to be white with spurious cloudy marks in various places. I have swapped out the screen and I get the same result. IN this case would you believe it to be the inverter?

My battery is totally dead will not charge at all have to leave on charger all the time, is that a bad thing to do
