If you are looking for Acer laptop service manuals, you can download it here. Some laptop service manuals have multiple parts. To use the manual, download all parts to your hard drive and then extract them with WinRar archiver.

UPDATE: The site I was linking to removed all Acer manuals. I’m not sure if they will start sharing them again. I’ll keep this post alive because there are a lot of useful tips in the comments.

geevarghese,
How it flickers? Are you losing the backlight, image or both?
I think it’s either bad connection between the video cable and motherboard/LCD screen or the video cable goes bad.
1. I would try reconnecting the video cable on both ends.
2. I would try replacing the cable.

For some reason they removed all Acer manuals. They used to share them but not anymore. I keep this thread open so people can ask Acer related questions.

It seems to be a problem with motherboard(South Bridge not work correctly) It is a coommon problem for Aspire 5100. Only one possible solution – replacing South Bridge on motherboard

Hello Shaun:
I too have had some problems with my TravelMate 2312LCi, and was able to locate this service guide:
http://rs50.rapidshare.com/fil.....Series.rar
I don’t know about the 2313 but I know my 2312 had the RAM slots oriented differently, but other than that everything was the same. Let me know if that link is not working anymore.

I have an acer travelmate 2313lci that has a dead monitor (or loose connection maybe) but I cannot find a service manual on how to disassemble it to check this. Does anyone have instructions about how to do so?

I have an acer aspire 5100 laptop and it powers on with the display proper but the keyboard, mouse and USB ports doesn’t work. Every input command stands still. i even tried to use a pcmcia to USB converter to see if i can establish an external link with the laptop but it also failed. Please can anybody give me any possible solution to remedy this situation. I am realy confuse.
