I got my grandson a Dell Laptop Inspiron and he was using it and a VIRUS came up and he automatically hit the X box and didn’t put it in the vault that the anti-virus has and kaboom…..now nothing. I called Dell and they want alot of money to completely remove and reinstall the whole system and I have all the software and want to know how to delete everything and reinstall it myself…..

What do you mean it’s not reading the hard drive? The hard drive is not detected by the BIOS or the hard drive doesn’t spin at all. Be more specific.

Hi, It’s me again Cherry, I havr bad knees awaiting knee replacements july 26th. I loved my laptop, my husband had a bad stroke a few years ago and the laptop passes so much of my time. yeasterday I almost fell and the milk I had in my hand went inside my laptop, it was leaning with the hard drive up and was against my dresser. I was always afraid I would step on it so I set it up. Bad move at least if it would have been flat the milk would have spilt on top. I cried all day, I am so sad. I was always so happy with my laptop, it was old but it worked good. Help?
