@ william,

I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop 315/cdt Series, and I forgot the password to start, how could they?

Are you talking about the BIOS password?
Take a look at this page: http://www.laptoprepair101.com/laptop/2006/02/10/remove-clear-toshiba-laptop-bios/
This tool works well for most older Toshiba laptops.

Jhay27,

So i have one last question, will it be safe if i use external keyboard, wireless or via usb temporarily?

I don't think you'll be able to use an external keyboard.
If your internal keyboard has a problem with the S key, it will continue typing on its own even if you use an external keyboard.
You can disconnect the internal keyboard from the motherboard and use an external keyboard after that. It's safe.

@ Jay,

I have a Toshiba Eqiuim U400-146. I have an intermittent white screen appear. When it does I have to turn on and off again and fine. I have checked connections and appear ok. I’m wondering if it is LCD screen or motherboard (think this model has an int graphics card on MB?)

It's hard to tell without testing the laptop with another working LCD screen.
Just double check all video cable connections. Make sure everything is plugged correctly on BOTH ends, the LCD screen and motherboard.
If you have to guess, I would probably replace the LCD screen first.
I've seen some white screens caused by failed motherboard, but usually it's a permanent failure and the laptop displays the white screen all the time.
With intermittent issue like yours, I would suspect the screen (or cable?).

Jhay27,

then i found out that the keyboard is stucked up with S key, this might be the reason why this having trouble with the mouse. I opened the text editor and the S key runs itself as if theres sumting pressing it.

Apparently the S key contacts are shorted. You'll have to replace the keyboard.
Here are instructions for Toshiba Portege 3500 disassembly.
http://www.irisvista.com/tech/laptops/Toshiba_Portege_3500/replace_soundboard_1.htm
For keyboard replacement follow steps 10-13.
