If your Toshiba laptop is not under warranty anymore and you have decided to open and repair it yourself , then you should know how to find a part number for the laptop part you want to replace. Almost every part and cable in Toshiba laptops has its own part number and should be replaced only with the same part or a substitute part. To find the part number look for a sticker or for a sign on the part. Toshiba part number would be something like V000040870, A000004270, P000343780, etc. After you find the part number you can search here.
If you cannot find a part number for your Toshiba laptop, I can help you. Just leave me a comment with the part name you are looking for, the laptop model name and the laptop model number. For example: laptop model name Toshiba Satellite A75-S211 and laptop model number PSA70U-0WK00G. This information is located on the sticker on the bottom of your laptop.
I would be able to help to find a part number only for laptops sold in the USA.

Hi There, having trouble with my m35x-s111 dvd-rom/cdrw. The laptop shows the drive in bios and diag but comes up with failure. Tried new drive with same results, it just says driver failed to load and drive error. I want to try a new connector for the motherboard. Any ideas would be highly appreciated. Thanks

Brett,
Here’s a part number for Toshiba Satellite M55 touchpad cable: K000028130. Google it and you’ll find it right away.

The touchpad cable was accidentally cut on my M55-S325. Can I just get a replacement cable or is the cable part of the touchpad? What is the part number to replace either the cable or the entire touchpad if necessary?

Cj, sorry to bug you again, but I just went to move the laptop over to another spot, and I noticed when I sat it down, the line changed. It seemed to get more color in it, then I purposly lightly raised it up and down, letting it hit the counter a bit, and it has an effect on the line. Is that normal? Could it be that there is a loose connection? Maybe the video cable?
Just thought I’d ask….

Sorry Lynne,
I didn’t want to upset you. I’m just trying to help. It might be not necessary to spend money on a new FL inverter if it’s not your problem.

Ok, I just shined a flashlight on it, and the line is still there………..now I’m really upset…..
