How to find Toshiba laptop part number? If your Toshiba laptop is not under warranty anymore and you have decided to open and repair it yourself , then you should know how to find a part number for the laptop part you want to replace. Almost every part and cable in Toshiba laptops has its own part number and should be replaced only with the same part or a substitute part. To find the part number look for a sticker or for a sign on the part. Toshiba part number would be something like V000040870, A000004270, P000343780, etc. After you find the part number you can search here.

If you cannot find a part number for your Toshiba laptop, I can help you. Just leave me a comment with the part name you are looking for, the laptop model name and the laptop model number. For example: laptop model name Toshiba Satellite A75-S211 and laptop model number PSA70U-0WK00G. This information is located on the sticker on the bottom of your laptop.

I would be able to help to find a part number only for laptops sold in the USA.

I have a Toshiba Satellite A65-S1062 whose Model # is PSA60U-01W015 and Serial # 74119125Q. It looks like I have bad RAM on the System Board, that I understand needs to be replaced in this circumstance. Request a Part Number.

Thank you for your time and trouble on my behalf.

Hello, Ive got a bad video card (fx go 5200) on my system board. Ive stripped the board down and cannot find the toshiba p# to be able to search around (properly) for a deal on a system board without a processer. I have a Satellite m35-s456, could you tell me the part # and possibly where the best place to purchase one is?
The National Parts Depot wants $400 plus the core board for exchange.

    Lee,
I doubt that the BIOS will recognize HDD larger then 8GB. Originally this laptop was supplied with 6.4GB hard drive.

    Beth,
Here’s a motherboard part number for your laptop: K000019630, you’ll find it if you search on Google.
Before you purchase a new motherboard and replace it, you should know this. Recently Toshiba issued a 12 months warranty extension for some Satellite M30X, M35X, A70 and A75 notebooks sold in the USA. According to the model number you mentioned in your comment in was sold in the USA. Toshiba will fix these units at no charge even though laptops ran out of warranty. You might qualify for this repair. I would recommend calling Toshiba for more details of just bring the laptop to a local Toshiba service center and talk to them. Don’t spend money if you can fix it for free. Let me know how it goes.

    Dave,
If you want to find an exact part number, you’ll have to remove the LCD screen and find a sticker on the opposite side. I searched for LCD screens listed for a Satellite A25-S207 notebook (model number PSA20U-02HKLVB) and found five different screens.
    Samsung screen, P000367840
    LG.Philips screen, P000367850
    Sharp screens, P000379090 and P000383670
The above mentioned screens should be interchangeable.
There is one more screen, LG Philips P000387550, but this one has a note “requires specific parts”. I would be careful with this one.
Before you purchase a new screen make sure contact the seller and confirm that you are buying a correct one. You don’t want to buy a wrong screen. :)

    James,
Sorry for a late response, I was kinda busy. I checked the part listing for Toshiba Satellite L25-S1196 notebook and found that there is a wireless card listed for this model. It’s Atheros 802.11b/g mini PCI card. You can find it by the part number: A000004010
