How to find Toshiba laptop part number? If your Toshiba laptop is not under warranty anymore and you have decided to open and repair it yourself , then you should know how to find a part number for the laptop part you want to replace. Almost every part and cable in Toshiba laptops has its own part number and should be replaced only with the same part or a substitute part. To find the part number look for a sticker or for a sign on the part. Toshiba part number would be something like V000040870, A000004270, P000343780, etc. After you find the part number you can search here.

If you cannot find a part number for your Toshiba laptop, I can help you. Just leave me a comment with the part name you are looking for, the laptop model name and the laptop model number. For example: laptop model name Toshiba Satellite A75-S211 and laptop model number PSA70U-0WK00G. This information is located on the sticker on the bottom of your laptop.

I would be able to help to find a part number only for laptops sold in the USA.

Here are more tips for finding a correct part for your notebook.

NEED A NEW REPLACEMENT LAPTOP SCREEN SANSUNG LT150X3-134 15.0? XGA TFT

Did you try eBay? Search for SANSUNG LT150X3 and you’ll find many of them. Now, I found some screens SANSUNG LT150X3 with a different number after the dash (not 134). I’m not sure if they are compatible with your screen, I would suggest contacting the seller.

I have a toshiba satelite M35x-S109 laptop. The mother board is in damaged state. Its seems there is some BGI chipset on the board is damaged and should be replaced.
Can you tell me whether i really need to replace the motherboard or can i get it repaired.

I think it will easier and cheaper to replace the motherboard.
You can find the motherboard part number where the memory slots are located. There should be a sticker with the part number in there. Google the part number and you’ll find it.

    Frank,

I’m selling a new replacement screen for my satellite M35-S456 and someone who owns a satellite a105 s4084 wants to know if the screen will work in his satellite even though it’s different. Do you think this true bright screen is interchangeable with other satellites?

It’s hard to tell without testing. If both screens have the same type of connector for the video cable, there is a chance that the screen will work.
A while ago I installed LCD screen from a Satellite A105 into a Satellite M35X laptop and it worked fine, but again, there is no guaranty if it’s true for other Satellite laptops.

    joyce,

    I have a toshiba satellite
M45-S355 model PSM40U-073001 with what I was told a “bad” motherboard.

Here’s the motherboard part number for your laptop: V000051700.

It will boot, run for 15m or so, freeze. It was taken in for repair, cleaned, returned to me with the bad news about the motherboad.

By the way, can you hear the fan working? Maybe the cooling fan is bad and your laptop freezes because of overheating. Also, I would check the RAM modules. Do you have two modules installed? Try removing them one by one. Test the laptop with each module separately. If the laptop works fine with one module and freezes with the second one, apparently the second RAM module is defective.

I need part # for motherboard and maybe resources for repair that will not cost me more than its worth. Everything else is in good shape and the screen is perfect.
