How to find Toshiba laptop part number?If your Toshiba laptop is not under warranty anymore and you have decided to open and repair it yourself , then you should know how to find a part number for the laptop part you want to replace. Almost every part and cable in Toshiba laptops has its own part number and should be replaced only with the same part or a substitute part. To find the part number look for a sticker or for a sign on the part. Toshiba part number would be something like V000040870, A000004270, P000343780, etc. After you find the part number you can search here.

If you cannot find a part number for your Toshiba laptop, I can help you. Just leave me a comment with the part name you are looking for, the laptop model name and the laptop model number. For example: laptop model name Toshiba Satellite A75-S211 and laptop model number PSA70U-0WK00G. This information is located on the sticker on the bottom of your laptop.

I would be able to help to find a part number only for laptops sold in the USA.

Here are more tips for finding a correct part for your notebook.

    Anh ha,

    Here is my problems:

    Laptop qosmio F15

    Problems:

    1. turn on the laptop then suddenly vertical dash line every where.

    Sounds like a problem with the video card and it’s a known issue with Qosmio F15 laptops. Read this article for more information (take a look at comments too). I know that a while ago Toshiba was fixing this problem at no charge even on out of warranty laptops. They were replacing motherboards because of some kind of video failure.
    Before you do anything else, try calling Toshiba and ask for a free repair.

    Dustin,

    During the downtime the front panel plug light flashes an error code. I can reset the laptop by unplugging battery and cord, when i plug it back in the plug light turns blue as normal but as soon as i hit power button it starts the code again.

    If you have two memory modules installed, try removing them one by one and test the laptop with each memory separately. If the laptop still giving you the same error message, most likely it’s the motherboard failure.

    Hey, i have an m35 s456 special edition that I can get to boot up but as soon as i turn it off it has to sit for 15 to 20 minutes before it will start up again. During the downtime the front panel plug light flashes an error code. I can reset the laptop by unplugging battery and cord, when i plug it back in the plug light turns blue as normal but as soon as i hit power button it starts the code again. I have ruled out heating issues as it doesnt matter if the laptop runs 5 seconds or 5 minutes, its always the same symptom.
    S= short blink
    L= long blink
    SLSSLLLS
    Then they all go blank for 2 or 3 seconds and the code repeats.

    any help is greatly appreciated. thanks, Dustin

    SEB,

    I have a Toshiba Satellite A135 PSAD0U-0N700P, and I am looking for a DC Jack with Cable to plug — I do not know how to solder and I do not have any tools for that.
    It would be great if you can help me find the part number for this model.

    Unfortunately, in a Satellite A135 laptop the power jack comes attached to the motherboard. Yes, it’s on a pigtail cable, but the cable itself is soldered to the motherboard. Because of that Toshiba doesn’t supply this DC-IN harness separately and there is no part number.
    You have a few options to fix/replace/modify the power jack in this laptop but they all require soldering skills.
