How to find Toshiba laptop part number? If your Toshiba laptop is not under warranty anymore and you have decided to open and repair it yourself , then you should know how to find a part number for the laptop part you want to replace. Almost every part and cable in Toshiba laptops has its own part number and should be replaced only with the same part or a substitute part. To find the part number look for a sticker or for a sign on the part. Toshiba part number would be something like V000040870, A000004270, P000343780, etc. After you find the part number you can search here.

If you cannot find a part number for your Toshiba laptop, I can help you. Just leave me a comment with the part name you are looking for, the laptop model name and the laptop model number. For example: laptop model name Toshiba Satellite A75-S211 and laptop model number PSA70U-0WK00G. This information is located on the sticker on the bottom of your laptop.

I would be able to help to find a part number only for laptops sold in the USA.

Here are more tips for finding a correct part for your notebook.

    Taylor,

I have a Toshiba Satellite A105-S1014 PSAA2U-01Y018 I need to replace the CDRW/DVD drive. All laptop replacement parts companies I’ve talked to said it would be $140-200 to replace. All the discount stores don’t carry anything compatible with my laptop. If you could tell me the part number for the CDRW/DVD drive I could try doing some searches based on that.

    Here they are:
    V000061010 (Hitachi), V000061020 (KME), V000061030 (Toshiba), V000070330 (Teac).
    You can use either one.

    karim,

i can t locate the cmos battery in my qosmio x350 please help

I’m not familiar with this model, I guess it’s similar to Qosmio X300 (USA model).
The CMOS battery is soldered to the motherboard. Take a look at the step 35 in the following guide.
    http://www.irisvista.com/tech/.....mbly-1.htm
The CMOS battery is soldered under the right fan.

There is no guide for a Satellite P305 LCD replacement, but I think it’s similar to Satellite A305 which same but smaller body.

Thanks for the info cj2600. Admittedly odd that it is the first example you cite in your article above.

Will research mobo further. Already upgraded to 1.2GB RAM and a larger and faster HDD (5400rpm vs original 4200rpm).
