I HAVE A TOSHIBA EUROPE GMBH WHEN I PLUG A CHARGER INTO AC OUTLET IT POWERS OF AND RESTARTS AGAIN WHEN IT OPENS THE WINDOWS WILL BE FUNNY COLOURS.

I would test the laptop with an external monitor. If the same problem appears on the external screen this could be motherboard related failure.

Sounds like bad battery. I would try replacing the battery. Make sure to find the original Toshiba battery, not a cheap/compatible battery.

What do you mean the laptop will not stay on? It starts properly and shuts down after that or it will not start at all?
Maybe overheating problem?

I have a toshiba satellite M115-S1071 unit. The unit just displays the light in the A/C led and the ON led and sometimes the wifi led when i plug it on A/C and same display with the battery. I have taken the unit apart and tried isolate the problem by removing a device at a time. eventually i removed them all along with the processor but it still shows same symptoms..

Probably this is motherboard failure. I don’t think this laptop worth replacing the motherboard.
