Hello,

Thanks for all the advice here. I tried to see if you had already answered my question, but couldn't find it. I have a Toshiba Satellite c675d with an led screen that was turning off and on randomly, so I decided to replace the video cable. After I put in the new cable I turned on the computer and got no display, then I realized that the cable could plug into the motherboard even if it was flipped over. When I flipped it, the backlight came on but I am getting a white screen with both the new and old cables. Could I have damaged the screen by plugging the cable in upside down, or damaged the plug on the mb?

hello
well recently i had a problem with the screen of my alienware m14xr2 its having lines so i decide to move for a new screen well the thing is that the basic screen which is coming with my laptop is 1368*768 resolution and it says in the website that the laptop support the 900 pi screen which is HD+ so when i ordered a new screen i order the hd+ one i just install it ; remove power AC and battery and mount it then i found out there is tow big lines in white in the right side and black and that is only for the right side the rest it works absolutely fine its sharp clean and very clear i need to know if the problem is from the screen which is defective or the video cable , know that i call dell service center and they have told me the laptop is ready for hd+ screen and in forums several people they have upgrade resolution without changing any cable .... i am really confused
thank you

I have a Toshiba Qosmio X505-Q885. It has a Nvidia GEForece 360 video card. I have extended the display to a 2nd monitor by use of an HDMI cable - works great. But I want to extend to a 3rd monitor by use of the VGA port. No signal from VGA port. I discovered a VGA drive that is not running. How do I fix this?

Hi,

I have a strange one for you on a Dell Vostro notebook with Windows 8. Ever so often the screen goes garbled...colors and alignment out of sync (like cable is not connected properly), but will fix itself in 5-10min. OR you can just change screen mode (for external display options) OR open the Start menu and both fix it immediately. LCD diagnostics does not find any issues and tried 3 different drivers (from Dell and from Intel - 3000).

Any ideas??
