    I have acer aspire 1510 series which suddenly went dead, no charge of battery anymore, can’t turn it on, power supply is ok also conector is fine. Just completelly dead. Anyone can help with this problem?

    If the power supply is OK and power gets to the motherboard, but the laptop is dead, it must be bad motherboard.

    aspire 1800 dont show the screen, i dont know how reset the bios,
    i was testing whit another procesor and other hard disk and changing the ram, even without the wirelless card, and still turnig on (the led of hard disk, and other allways light on), but doesn’t start

    Where can I find the service guide to Acer Aspire 1692WLMi (DDR2), I have found Aspire 1690 service guide but it is not the same that mine.

    My friend’s new Acer Laptop has been infested with overwhelming viruses. Nothing can be opened…period, so “system restore” is out of the question. What else can be done to get to the internet, so that a virus repair program can be downloaded, and some of these problems alleviated?

    1. You can reinstall Windows from scratch. Just boot the laptop from the system recovery disc and follow the instructions. Warning! This will erase all data from the hard drive.
    2. Remove the hard drive from the laptop and connect it to another working computer with up-to-date antivirus software installed. Scan the hard drive and remove all viruses.

    i have 4710 aspire..n my laptop screen turns out white suddenly.
    do any one have a solution for tha same..where can i get the service manuals??
